The history of Taijiquan and Taiji 37

Contrary to what many people believe Taiji is not that old, it is only about 80 years old. It is however rooted in disciplines that are older, such as wushu.
The application of Taiji has changed over time: it developed from a martial art to exercises for health and then into a method for healing.
